Active Rest invites a shift in how time is felt. Rather than something to be spent or managed, time is experienced as cyclical, bodily, and present, something we can enter, remain within, and choose. Through installation, painting, scent, objects, and image-making, the exhibition explores rest as an active state: a fragile balance between movement and stillness, intimacy and distance, care and risk. Rest appears not as escape, but as a practice, one that unfolds through attention, sensation, and duration. Visitors are invited to slow the pulse of time, to feel it rather than measure it, and to rest not by stopping, but by choosing how to be present.
